What Is The Vicciola

Vicciola is exclusively the Piedmont's Bovine Breed fed with nuts. Its feeding, that got the Patent in 2014, consists of breast milk, nuts, cereals, bran, broad beans and hay. Any trace of compound animal feed or nutritional supplement normally employed to increase the quantity and to fasten the growth is ever admitted.

Our History

Macelleria Pino was founded in Turin in 1982 and has never moved from the original site in Via Cibrario 53.  To reach his unique results Pino, always in search of the best quality, made a deep study on the different kinds of cattle breeding, their growth and, most of all, their feeding

MINISTERIAL APPROVAL/EUROPEAN CERTIFICATION AND PATENT

On the 8th of August 2012, the Ministero dele Politiche Agricole e Forestali approved the Procedural Guidelines allowing Macelleria Pino to certify the Bovine Breed and its feeding (Decreto Ministeriale n. 0017546, 8th of August 2012 and National identification number IT152ET). 

Up to now Macelleria Pino is the first private butcher shop in Italy to have obtained a Disciplinare Ministeriale.

European Certification

Since May 31st 2018 Macelleria Pino also got the European BOLLO CE (IT T4E0X CE) that authorizes it to sell and send the Vicciola from its Laboratory connected to the Butchery all over the world and, on June the 6th 2014, the Vicciola feeding got the Patent.
